According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics released about three weeks ago, unemployment in April remained twenty percent higher in states won by Obama in last fall's presidential election than in states won by John McCain. Remember though, these statistics are three weeks old, when the overall unemployment rate was only 8.9%. It's now at 9.4%, and I suspect there is probably a higher percentage disparity now than twenty percent. I wonder if this inequity will now convince all the sheep who voted for O'Dummy, and who are now realizing that they just can't sit back and wait for their promised government bailout/welfare, that spending money to "stimulate" the economy doesn't result in prosperity and jobs, only debt.

I'm hoping this results in a viable possibility that there may be a turnaround in the mid-term elections, if this trend continues. Even sheep can't be duped forever, hopefully.
