This would be almost funny, if it weren't so serious.
These backroom, closed-door sessions Obama is engaged in are for a reason. They are the breeding ground for the "cash for cloture" shenanigans that fueled the Senate vote, without which they would have never passed a damn thing.
I've said it from the beginning: With Obama, it's very simple. You never listen to what he says, you only watch what he does.
